Imperial German Navy-Luftsturm Wagen / May 2020

The Imperial German Navy on Mars has been busy. I give you the Mk I Luftsturm Wagen.

An aerial boarding craft. I'll be added a forward and aft gun to her, Hotchkiss 3&6 pdrs.

Originally a blotz terrain Luftstrum Wagon plus a u-boat conning tower. The Seebataillon can't wait to try it out!

    The conning tower adds a lot to the fig. Great stuff.

    Thanks Dave,

    I just felt the model needed a little extra in the command area. Just enough bridge structure to keep it VSF before it turns into full SciFi and not Space 1889.

    Nice bit of kit DLI, well built!
    Will you be emblazoning it with any markings, maybe even a U Boat swordfish on the control tower?

    Thank you Sir :) I've finally got my hands on some WW1 armour decals. Just simple Prussian crosses. I already had a WW1 Imperial Navy flag for her. As soon as I've the 1st new Hullcutter out of the way, I'll be getting back to her for some photo's of crew and troops for the blog.
