Space 1889 Martian Tavern Project

One of my cork buildings aimed at a Martian tavern.Basic cork rectangle with a coffee can corner tower.

I've to add some finishing touches before it reaches the table.

  2. Brilliant! Its the Space 1889 version of the Mos Eisley Cantina! I can already hear that classic music floating out of those triangular windows (which I like too). Some street hawkers and tables filled with wares would not be out of place put the front either. Good stuff!

  3. Now you come to mention it Paul its does have a SW feel to it. It wasn't my intention. I just feel my current building stock has too many straight lines and needs some curves adding to the collection.

Triangles are about the easiest shapes to cut in cork I find and I wanted a more "cheap" look to them for a tavern.

Thank you gentlemen for your comments, always welcome.

  4. You know what would look great? Some interior illumination. A couple of battery powered LEDs would make a great effect shining out of those windows.
